Wells Fargo Insurance Services nabs Las Vegas brokerage in buying spree - Pittsburgh Business Times:

The brokerage network, part of (NYSE: WFC) said the deal closexd June 1. Terms were not disclosed. According to has been in businesxsince 1999, when it was founded by John Grady, and focusea exclusively on health and benefitsz insurance, with customers in the hospitality, health-care, auto sales and home developmenr niches. Grady is now managing director ofemployer benefits. Wells Fargo Insurance Services isthe world’sx fifth-largest insurance brokerage and the nation’ s largest bank-owned brokerage, according to Busineszs Insurance magazine’s 2008 list, with more than 200 officezs in 37 states. The brokerage network has been on a buyingsprew recently.
It bought Novato’s and in earlyg April, and about a month before that acquiredWalnutg Creek-based , an employee benefits consulting firm that also has officesa in Houston and Seattle, among otherf deals in recent months.
